Nurse Practitioner Pain Management NP, 3 Days Wk, Immediate Start!

Canyon Pain Center is an independent, pain management practice serving Phoenix for almost 10 years! Located at the corner of 7th St & Bell Rd.

We are hiring 2 Nurse Practitioners for an immediate opening. Target start date is August 24; we are prioritizing candidates who can move quickly, and interviews are being conducted this week!

About the role:

• Manage an long-established chronic pain patient panel
• Medication management, treatment planning, and patient monitoring within written practice protocols
• Hybrid schedule: in-person clinic days plus telehealth visits for stable established patients, structured around visit type and current prescribing regulations
• Flexibility on days, able to accommodate day changes.
• Multimodal practice with in-house trigger point injections, PRP, chiropractic, and rehabilitation services
• Our panel includes both legacy patients on long-standing regimens and newer patients started under current guidelines — we manage each according to current CDC guidance, which means individualized care based on their own individual unique history.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Arizona NP license — FNP or AGNP (role and population focus must cover adult chronic pain management)
• Active DEA registration
• Controlled substance prescribing experience required; chronic pain, addiction medicine, or palliative care background preferred, but not required
• Strong documentation habits and sound clinical judgment
