Position Overview

We are looking for an outgoing, reliable, and hardworking Server to join our front-of-house team. As a server at Brodie’s Pub, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering friendly, attentive service, anticipating guest needs, and making everyone feel right at home. Pay is competitive and will depend on your experience and will be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Hospitality: Greet guests warmly, seat parties, and build rapport with regular patrons in a bustling neighborhood setting.
• Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, answer menu questions, and make recommendations (including pub specials, draft beers, and traditional Irish fare).
• Table Service: Serve meals, refill drinks promptly, and clear dishes to keep dining areas clean and comfortable.
• POS & Payments: Process payments accurately via the POS system and handle cash transactions efficiently.
• Teamwork: Coordinate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and busser crew to ensure smooth dining flow during high-volume lunch and dinner rushes.
• Side Duties: Perform opening/closing tasks, restock server stations, and maintain health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior 3 years of restaurant serving experience is a must (casual dining or pub environment is a plus).
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive personality.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old (to serve alcohol in NY).
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.
