Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to two attorneys.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct research to support legal proceedings
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
• Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
• Record and store client information on the Firm's encrypted cloud storage.
• Communicate with clients to develop cases, including preparing and coordinating discovery for attorney review
• Calendar deadlines
• Scheduling and coordinating with potential new clients, current clients, courts, mediators, and arbitrators
• Communicate with courts, mediators, and arbitrators in the context of developing the case

Qualifications:

• A very positive attitude
• A minimum of three years experience as a litigation paralegal is required
• A thorough understanding of the calendaring process
• Familiarity with legal research
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
