Experienced Litigation Paralegal (5 years+)

Our firm continues to expand! Excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal. Great team to work with. Top Tier salary commensurate with experience. This is a position for an experienced legal assistant and not an entry level position. Strong, working experience is required.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:
* Bachelor’s degree
* A minimum of 5 years of paralegal litigation experience
* Paralegal certificate or equivalent
* Thorough working knowledge of state and federal rules of civil procedure
* Strong understanding of legal calendaring
* Attention to detail
* Strong proofreading skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Confident use of Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.
* Comfort working with an Apple Mac (not PC)
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Good judgment and self-starter, with a strong work ethic
* Regular office hours with occasional overtime as needed

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Calendaring and monitoring service deadlines
• Filing in state and federal courts
• Preparing and responding to discovery
• Preparation of judicial counsel forms
• Organizing trial binders
• Answering phone calls/tracking voicemails
• Tracking office expenses in Excel
• Additional administrative tasks
