The AT/EMT/Paramedic Injury Prevention Specialist - Off Shift position is in an occupational medicine setting. Required qualifications / skills / experience / certifications / licenses:Injury Prevention EMT/Paramedic certification or license in good standing in the state of Pennsylvaniagood orthopedic skills2 year's experience preferredexcellent and dynamic people skillshigh motivation levelgood communication skillsprofessional confidenceable to work autonomously and possess good critical thinking skillsResponsibilities: You and a complete medical team will be providing medical triage and assistance to team members of one of the largest meat processing plants in the country located in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Conducting emergency response and triage procedures for initial evaluations for musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusions. As well as non-occupational, medical emergencies.Injury PreventionAssessing repetitive motion discomfortDetermining root cause analysisErgonomic assessmentsImplementation and assessment of proactive programs such as stretching and job rotationsAnalyzing trends and producing reports for safetyMedical surveillance procedures such as pulmonary function testing, hearing testing, eye exams, UDS's, and mask fittingMedical screeningElectronic medical reporting/documentationCase Management Assistance Job Type : Full TimeHours : 2:30pm-11:30pm (2nd shift)Location: Hatfield, PennsylvaniaSalary Range: $60k to $65kBenefits: Medical, Dental, 401(k), competitive salary, paid time off
