Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized wound care services to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound treatment plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address patient needs and goals

• Conduct wound assessments and report findings to physicians, other healthcare professionals, and families

• Implement evidence-based wound care practices and protocols to promote healing and prevent complications

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques and self-care strategies

• Document patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities
