Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Operations to lead operational performance across a multi-location distribution organization. This executive will partner closely with ownership and department leaders to strengthen operations, improve cross-functional collaboration, and support the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader who enjoys balancing high-level business planning with day-to-day operational execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead operations across multiple branch locations, ensuring consistent execution and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish priorities, improve performance, and support long-term business goals.
  • Foster strong communication and alignment between operations, sales, finance, purchasing, and other departments.
  • Coach and develop operational leaders while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee operational budgets, financial performance, and key business metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support branch leaders with operational planning, staffing, and performance initiatives.
  • Help oversee company safety programs, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.
  • Build relationships across all levels of the organization, from frontline employees to executive leadership.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that position the organization for sustainable growth.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience (20+ years preferred).
  • Experience managing multi-site operations within industrial distribution, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or a related industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, operational KPIs, and organizational performance.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with ownership and senior leadership.
  • Comfortable spending time in both office and field environments.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oil & gas or industrial distribution experience.
  • Experience supporting both operational and commercial organizations.
  • Knowledge of safety, compliance, and branch operations.

  • Onsite position in Oklahoma City with occasional travel to branch locations.
