About the Role


Maine Outdoor Spaces builds high-end hardscape and outdoor living spaces across southern Maine — patios, retaining walls, walkways, fire features, and full outdoor environments. We hold a high standard on every project, and the crew that builds them needs to match it.

We're hiring a General Laborer to join our Install Crew. You'll work directly under the Install Crew Leader and Installer, keeping the jobsite moving by handling the hands-on support work that makes production possible.

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00/hr based on experience. Overtime available.


What You'll Do

• Assist the install crew, move materials, and keep supplies flowing to the crew throughout the day
• Use hand tools to grade and level materials as directed
• Operate basic power tools safely under supervision
• Support each phase of the project — you'll learn how jobs are structured and what comes next
• Maintain a clean, organized job site throughout the day and at closeout
• Take direction from the Crew Leader and Installer and execute it well

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn — this is the non-negotiable
• Physically capable of sustained outdoor manual labor in all weather conditions
• Reliable — consistent attendance and punctuality, every day
• Able to take and follow direction without hesitation
• Valid driver's license

Nice to Have

• Prior construction, landscaping, or hardscape experience
• Familiarity with hand tools or basic power tools
