Position Overview

As a Dining Services Aide, you'll help create a positive dining experience by assisting with meal service, preparing dining areas, and supporting kitchen operations. Your kindness, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent customer service help ensure every resident enjoys a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable mealtime.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare dining rooms before each meal service

  • Serve meals to residents in a friendly, respectful, and timely manner

  • Assist with meal plating and portioning according to dietary guidelines

  • Deliver meal trays and beverages to residents as needed

  • Clear tables and assist with meal cleanup

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout dining and kitchen areas

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as assigned

  • Stock supplies and assist with kitchen organization

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and facility policies

  • Work collaboratively with the Dietary Team and Nursing staff to provide exceptional resident service

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, dietary, or healthcare experience is a plus—but not required

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed
