Job Coach

Empower Ability LLC is seeking a part-time Job Coach to support individuals in building job readiness and achieving employment goals.

Position Summary

As a Job Coach, you will partner with individuals to develop workplace skills, build confidence, and strengthen the ability to maintain employment. You will provide hands-on coaching and guidance while helping align job performance with expectations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys direct support, values clear communication, and takes pride in helping others succeed in real-world work environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site coaching to help individuals develop job skills, routines, and workplace behaviors

• Support participants with task instruction, performance feedback, and goal tracking

• Assist with job placement readiness by helping individuals prepare for interviews, attendance expectations, and onboarding needs

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent support and progress toward employment outcomes

• Maintain accurate documentation of coaching activities, progress notes, and performance observations

Required Qualifications

• Ability to coach and support individuals with patience, empathy, and professionalism

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain expectations clearly and respectfully

• Experience working in a direct-support, mentoring, or coaching role (or equivalent practical experience)

• Reliable presence and time management skills in an on-site work environment

• Comfort working with diverse individuals and adapting support to individual needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with job coaching, workforce development, or supported employment practices

• Experience supporting individuals with employment barriers or learning differences

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and community partners to support outcomes

• Demonstrated experience in coaching and tracking progress toward measurable goals

Compensation

Hourly rate: $25
