Pay: $20/Hour plus $0.75 shift differential
Schedule:
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays Required

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Overhead Crane Operator to join our production team in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safely operating overhead cranes to transport, stage, and position heavy materials throughout the facility while supporting production operations and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial manufacturing, metal fabrication, steel processing, or construction environments and is committed to workplace safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and stage heavy materials throughout the production facility
Prepare and organize racks for the galvanizing process, ensuring proper placement and material readiness
Hang finished products on designated racking systems according to production specifications
Transport racked materials between production lines and staging areas
Perform visual quality inspections to verify straightness, measurements, and overall material readiness
Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished products meet production standards
Support production team members, including assisting machine and robot operators as needed
Complete production reports and accurately document production activities
Perform equipment changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and routine housekeeping duties
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental procedures
Required Qualifications:
Minimum four (4) years of overhead crane operating experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Minimum four (4) years of experience in construction, steel fabrication, metal processing, or other heavy industrial settings
Strong knowledge of safe material handling practices and overhead crane operations
Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in physically demanding industrial conditions
Strong attention to detail, quality, and workplace safety
