Job Description

The Registered Dental Hygienist plays a key role in patient care, prevention, and education while supporting clinical efficiency and an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Take dental radiographs
• Perform periodontal charting
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment needs
• Assist in co-diagnosing treatment when appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow OSHA and CDC infection control standards
• Support schedule flow and patient experience
• Work collaboratively with the doctor and team

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license (Indiana)
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of dental radiography
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Professional, dependable, and team oriented
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Commitment to quality patient care
