Title: General Labor
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: $18-$23, based on experience
Shift: 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm (optional OT)
Start: Immediately
Backgrounds: Reviewed on a case by case basis
POSITION SUMMARY: Job will involve floating between various work areas to help support business demands where needed. Opportunity to learn different aspects of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- History of strong job attendance and commitment
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Good team player
- Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse a plus
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working in a metal fabrication shop at different stations
- Shipping and receiving duties, including wrapping parts for deliveries
- Being able to lift 20-40 lbs is necessary.
- Helping load and unload parts from different machines
- Being able to shift gears and help where needed is a big part of the job. Must be open to learning and trying new things. Every day could change where you are needed.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent a plus, but not required
LANGUAGE SKILLS: English - fluent
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Standing and walking – 95%. Sitting – 5%.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
