Responsibilities
As a New Business Sales Producer, you will:
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, community involvement, and lead follow-up.
- Conduct needs-based conversations to understand each client's insurance goals.
- Educate prospective clients on personal and commercial insurance solutions.
- Prepare quotes and present coverage recommendations with confidence.
- Follow up consistently to convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using the agency's CRM.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and activity goals.
- Develop referral partnerships that generate ongoing business.
- Deliver a professional, consultative customer experience from first contact through policy issuance.
- Stay current on products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications
- Sales or customer service experience preferred
- Insurance experience is a plus, but not required
- California Property & Casualty License preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn agency technology
