Position Overview:
We are seeking a polished and personable Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently will set the tone for our guests' visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival
Manage reservations and walk-ins using our reservation system
Escort guests to their tables, ensuring proper seating arrangements
Maintain an organized and clean reception area
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating
Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant
Assist with special seating requests and accommodate guest needs
Monitor dining room activity to manage seating flow

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience as a Host/Hostess in a fine dining or upscale restaurant
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in reservation and table management software
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysOysterLink
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems
Knowledge of multiple languages
Familiarity with POS systems
