The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Records Clerk
What You Will Do
Maintain and update patient medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation by reviewing records for discrepancies.
Coordinate the release of information requests while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
Assist healthcare providers in accessing necessary medical records for patient care.
Implement and maintain efficient filing systems for both electronic and paper records.
Duties as assigned
Responsible for transportation scheduling for residents
Serve as an escort to residents' appointments as needed
What You Must Have
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred.
Familiarity with medical records management systems is essential.
Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
Active CNA certification in the state of GA
