Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced mutlifamily construction Superintendent to serve as our on-site leader, managing day-to-day field operations for major construction projects. In this role, you will be fully accountable for all production aspects, ensuring we deliver high-quality work that aligns with contract standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized job site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Leadership: Initiate and strictly enforce all job site safety protocols (OSHA, HAZCOM, NFPA, and local regulations).
  • Scheduling & Execution: Create and maintain a Primavera P6 baseline schedule defining the critical path and project/building turnover sequences.
  • Team Mentorship: Lead, train, and develop assistant superintendents, project engineers, and field staff.
  • Site Management: Develop and maintain site utilization plans (temporary facilities, traffic control, material/equipment staging, and site access).
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Direct all subcontractor work, managing schedules, submittals, quality control, safety audits, and punch lists.
  • Budget Oversight: Collaborate with project management to track costs, manage site impacts, and keep the project within budget.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date, as-built plans and conduct pre-construction site condition surveys.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary on-site contact for owners, design teams, inspectors, and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Supervisory Experience: 5 to 7 years in a lead field supervisory role (multi-family construction experience is highly preferred).
  • Education: An undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred (but not required).
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilizing modern construction technologies such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and BlueBeam, alongside strong Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) skills.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid certifications are highly preferred.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willing and able to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet milestones.
