About the Position

The Jr. Warehouse Associate will primarily focus on daily receiving operations and inventory management while gaining cross-functional exposure to broader warehouse operations. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for handling incoming IT hardware intake, verifying shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with general order fulfillment and e-waste processing as you learn and grow within the team.

Receiving & Inspection (Primary Focus)

  • Receive, unpack, and stage incoming shipments of consumer electronics, servers, networking equipment, and other IT hardware.
  • Inspect incoming inventory for physical damage, defects, or discrepancies, and document findings promptly.
  • Verify shipment quantities and details against purchase orders, packing slips, or intake records using handheld RF scanners.

Inventory Management & Tracking (Primary Focus)

  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records to ensure high stock accuracy.
  • Scan items into the warehouse inventory system and maintain
    accurate, up-to-date tracking logs.
  • Assist with periodic inventory audits, bin location management, and stock organization.

Operational Support & Career Growth Opportunity

  • Assist with order fulfillment, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging units for outgoing shipments.
  • Learn basic hardware handling and disassembly techniques for desktops, laptops, and servers using hand and power tools.
  • Help load/unload trucks and move equipment safely using pallet jacks and carts.
  • Collaborate with lead warehouse staff on daily tasks to expand knowledge across all warehouse functions.

Compliance, ISO & Workplace Safety

  • Follow company ISO policies, R2/e-waste recycling standards, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation and warehouse floor.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, proper lifting techniques, and standard protective protocols.
  • Report non-conformities and participate in ongoing safety and ISO training programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 0–1 year of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience (entry-level candidates eager to learn warehouse operations are strongly encouraged to apply).
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with basic computer usage; prior exposure to handheld barcode/RF scanners or inventory systems is a plus.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and regularly lift up to 50–75 lbs safely with or without assistance.
  • Key Traits: High attention to detail, reliable attendance, strong communication skills, and a strong drive to learn and grow within warehouse operations.
