Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join a respected and growing legal team.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting attorneys and legal staff in a sophisticated practice focused on land use, zoning, environmental, real estate, and local government matters.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and collaborate closely with firm paralegals.
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical client files.
- Assist with document management, filing, and general office administration.
- Coordinate communications with clients, government agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Support attorneys with project tracking, deadlines, and administrative tasks related to ongoing matters.
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of legal and administrative documentation.
- Prior experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and calendar management.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid work ethic.
- Experience in land use, zoning, environmental, real estate, or local government law is a plus, but not required.
