Position Overview

As a Housekeeping & Laundry Aide, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and team members. You'll assist with housekeeping duties throughout the facility while also supporting daily laundry operations to ensure residents always have fresh linens and clothing.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and offices

  • Perform resident discharge cleaning according to facility standards

  • Dust, disinfect, wipe, mop, vacuum, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and equipment

  • Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry and facility linens

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area

  • Restock housekeeping carts, resident supplies, and cleaning materials

  • Follow daily cleaning schedules and assigned projects

  • Safely operate housekeeping and commercial laundry equipment

  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and sanitation guidelines

  • Work collaboratively with other departments to provide exceptional resident care

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hotel, laundry, janitorial, or healthcare experience preferred

  • Commercial laundry experience is a plus

  • Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred, but not required

  • Dependable with a strong work ethic

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday
