Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for hands-on operations of all facility equipment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist/organize repairs as needed
Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment
Ensure and equipment is functioning and report issues to management
Install and maintain new equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and/or electrical issues
Qualifications - Skills and Competencies
Working knowledge electrical repair
Working knowledge of plumbing repair
General handy man expertise
Knowledge of state nursing home regulations
Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Ability to work independently
Requirements
General, if not better than average knowledge of power equipment, electric and plumbing
Strong communication skills
Work well in team environment
1-3 years experience as nursing home maintenance supervisor
