Our Insurance Agency Apprenticeship Program is designed to take motivated sales professionals and develop them into licensed, appointed agency owners. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world sales experience, youll learn how to build and run a successful insurance agency. And the best part? W-2 income with commission and bonus on top.
This program allows you to earn income while you train, develop your book of business, and gain the leadership experience needed to launch your own agency.
After approximately 8-12 months in the program, qualified candidates can transition into opening their own agency with absolutely no "franchise fees."

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a personal book of business through proactive prospecting, networking, and referrals
Conduct client consultations to identify insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
Meet and exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics
Participate in daily and weekly training focused on sales, product knowledge, and business operations
Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses and certifications (company-supported)
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through excellent service and follow-up
Collaborate with mentors and agency leaders to develop business strategy and growth plans
Learn and execute agency operations including marketing, customer service, and retention strategies
Assist in recruiting, training, and developing future team members as leadership skills grow
Track activity, sales performance, and pipeline using CRM and company systems
Represent the agency with professionalism in the community through networking and local events
Prepare for transition into agency ownership by mastering financial, operational, and leadership competencies
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED (bachelor's degree preferred by many companies)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to obtain and maintain a Property & Casualty insurance license (and often Life & Health)
Pass background and credit checks (required by many insurance carriers)
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Sales & Business Skills
Proven sales or customer service experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to generate leads through networking, referrals, and community involvement
Comfortable making cold calls and asking for referrals
Ability to meet and exceed sales goals
Strong negotiation and closing skills
