Heritage Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a Prestige Healthcare Services facility, is seeking an experienced Part Time Activities Assistant to join our team!
As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating engaging and enjoyable activities that promote socialization, relaxation, and overall well-being.
This position would require weekend availability.
About the Role:
As an Activities Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and leading activities such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, and recreational games
Developing and implementing activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
Maintaining accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules
Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a seamless delivery of care and services
Providing assistance with daily living activities and general support to residents as needed

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required (level of education not specified)
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers (Health and physical demands of the job)
