Construction Superintendent
Job Description
Superintendent pay in Boston has moved hard over the past two years, and it moved because the job got harder. Tighter sites, denser trade stacks, owners who read the schedule weekly.
Belmont Search recruits Superintendents for general contractors and self-perform builders across Greater Boston, on commercial, institutional, life science and multifamily work.
What the firms we represent are buying:
- A schedule that is your word: kept, or called early, never discovered late.
- Trade coordination on tight urban sites where the logistics plan is half the job.
- Safety and quality run as standards, not binders.
- Assistant supers and field engineers who get better because they worked for you.
Ten or more years in the field, several of them running your own jobs. Concrete-to-close experience on urban or occupied sites is the profile moving fastest right now.
Salary is $130,000 - $170,000 depending on experience, plus vehicle allowance and bonus. Supers who wait for the General Superintendent promotion often find the market pays for it sooner.
Every conversation is confidential. Call or text John directly at (305) 871-9821, evenings included; supers rarely have office hours. If this isn't you but you know the one super everyone wishes they'd hired, introductions are welcome.
