Certified Traffic Control Flagger

Job Summary: We are hiring reliable and safety-minded Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team. Flaggers are responsible for directing vehicles and pedestrians safely around construction and work zones. This position is ideal for individuals who are alert, dependable, and enjoy working outdoors.
Key Responsibilities:

• Direct traffic flow around construction sites using signs, hand signals, and flagging devices.
• Ensure the safety of workers, motorists, and pedestrians in and around work zones.
• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control equipment (cones, signs, barricades).
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and drivers.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
• Remain alert and focused in varying weather and traffic conditions.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Traffic Control/Flagger certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Previous flagging or construction experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and holding signs for extended periods.
• Working outdoors in hot, cold, or inclement weather.
