SEL Support Specialist

Saint Mark Catholic School seeks a compassionate and skilled SEL Specialist tosupport students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This individual willimplement behavior intervention plans, teach self-regulation and social skills, trackstudent progress, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff tofoster a positive learning environment.Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Collect and analyze behavioral data to track student progress. Teach self-regulation, coping, communication, and social skills. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and the schoolsocial worker. Respond to behavioral crises using approved de-escalation techniques. Provide behavioral support and classroom management strategies to staff.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, Social Work, or arelated field required. 1-3 years of experience supporting student behavior in an educational setting. Experience with behavior intervention, IEP implementation, and data collection. Master's degree and CPI certification preferred. Must successfully complete Archdiocesan child safety training and backgroundscreening. Valid driver's license required.To ApplyPlease send a resume and cover letter to:Jen Kocher, Principal, [email protected]
