Job Description
We are hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct, high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans. This role collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care. The RN is accountable for maintaining clinical excellence, accurate documentation, and efficient resource utilization while supporting a positive patient experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Coordinate patient care using a multidisciplinary team approach.
- Monitor patient conditions and modify care plans based on changing clinical needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and established clinical standards.
- Perform specialty-specific nursing procedures as required.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, responses to treatment, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities to licensed and unlicensed personnel while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, infection prevention standards, and patient safety initiatives.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Required Within 3 Months of Hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (for applicable patient care units).
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing.
- Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $64,480 – $93,600 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
