US Trades is seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters for long-term work at a module fabrication yard in Ingleside, Texas.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial pipefitting experience
• Experience working in industrial construction, module fabrication, shipyard, refinery, petrochemical, LNG, or similar heavy-industrial environments
• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, isometric drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Experience laying out, measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling industrial piping systems
• Knowledge of pipe supports, valves, flanges, fittings, and related components
• Ability to prepare and fit pipe for SMAW and GTAW welding
• Ability to accurately perform offsets, takeoffs, and field measurements
• Ability to work safely and productively in a fast-paced fabrication yard
• Willingness and ability to work approximately 60 hours per week
• Dependable transportation to the Ingleside worksite
• Must reside within 60 miles of Ingleside, TX
• Must meet all project safety, screening, and onboarding requirements

Primary Responsibilities

• Read and interpret piping isometrics, drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Measure, cut, bevel, align, and fit industrial piping and components
• Fit pipe, flanges, valves, fittings, and supports according to project requirements
• Check pipe alignment, elevation, orientation, and dimensions before welding
• Prepare pipe joints for SMAW and GTAW welders
• Identify and correct fit-up or fabrication issues
• Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, levels, squares, and measuring equipment
• Follow all site safety policies, quality standards, and production requirements
• Work cooperatively with welders, foremen, quality personnel, and other fabrication team members
