Job Opening: Part-Time Licensed Dental Hygienist

Red Oak Family Dental is excited to announce a job opening for a Part-Time Licensed Dental Hygienist. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our thriving dental practice, located in and serving the community of Lake Elmo and surrounding cities of Woodbury, Stillwater, and Oakdale. This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to providing excellent Periodontal care and Patient education while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and patient safety.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical dental hygiene procedures including cleaning, scaling/root planing, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
  • Assess the dental condition and needs of patients; plan effective treatments to prevent and treat diseases according to the practice’s protocols and accepted community standards.
  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, nutritional counseling).
  • Take dental radiographs (x-rays) as required and recommended by Doctor
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and protective measures to minimize the risk of infection and maximize patient safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of all dental instruments and operatories before and after procedures as per practice protocols.
  • Help in maintaining clinic duties, shared between all members of the team.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or higher from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
  • Must hold a current Dental Hygienist licensure in the state of Minnesota.
  • Seasoned and new Grads are welcome to apply.
  • Strong skills in the areas of oral health promotion and maintenance, strong commitment to infection control protocols. .
