Residential Construction Working Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a physical, motivated, and reliable Working Supervisor to be responsible for understanding the scope of each project and for ensuring you and your team are prepared for the work ahead. You will work closely with the business owner to formulate plans for each project and to ensure they are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.

On a daily basis, you will be working alongside a crew of varying skill levels and it will be your responsibility to make sure they understand and undertake their tasks safely and efficiently to accommodate the timelines for each job site. You will be integral in helping to grow employees' skills and knowledge in a safe and professional manner. This position requires you to work in the field alongside your team as a working supervisor. Company provides vehicles and necessary tools for use during operating hours.

Job Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

• Have minimum 5 years professional experience in the residential construction field.
• Have a broad range of carpentry skills and a strong understanding of the aspects of construction.
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-motivated
• Be safety-minded at all times
• Efficient completion of tasks
• Positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, strong reading and math skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Have a valid Oregon driver's license

Compensation & Schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week (4-10s, M-Th)

Ability to Commute

• Springfield, OR 97478: Business shop/office, will use company vehicles to travel to job sites.
