Maintenance Technician/Custodian

School Maintenance Support

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19426
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm Year-Round

Job Description:
We are looking for a handy-man type professional to support light maintenance services in a private school environment. Some light janitorial support to full and part-time cleaning crews may be expected from client.

Responsibilities:

• GENERAL OPERATIONS

  • Handle inquiries and task requests from the client
  • Clean debris or accidental messes
  • Setup and Breakdown chairs, tables, and light furniture as needed
  • Keep utility closets and equipment clean and organized
  • Help coordinate schedules of project work.
  • Communicate site issues or changes
  • Communicate supply needs to FSM
  • Find/develop resources for teams as needed.

  
  

  Maintenance

  • Minor Repair/Maintenance of onsite property or equipment
  • Manage vendors as appropriate at direction of client
  • Manage resources as directed by the client
  • Minor groundskeeping
  • Minor carpentry work

  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable and punctual.

• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to pass a Federal background check and school clearance requirements.
