At Alight Behavioral Therapy, we provide personalized, in-home ABA therapy and autism evaluations, all designed to help children on the autism spectrum reach their full potential. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a vital role in our mission to empower these individuals to thrive.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RBT to join our team in Claremont, North Carolina. As an RBT at Alight Behavioral Therapy, you will work one-on-one with children with autism, utilizing evidence-based behavioral interventions to promote learning and development. This is a part-time opportunity that requires a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior

  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families

  • Collaborate with BCBA to modify treatment plans as needed

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions and progress

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in ABA

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program

  • RBT certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
