Daycare Lead Teacher
Job Description
Maybrook Hills Daycare, LLC is now seeking a qualified and experienced lead teacher. The Lead Teacher will create a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for the children within the center and carry out planned activities for the day. The lead teacher must possess excellent communication and listening skills and be able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. She/he will conduct observations and document the progress of the children. The teacher will implement activities with the help of the assistant teacher.

Job Description:
Includes but is not limited to:
Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans and daily activities
Developing and implementing daily activities to provide children with a variety of experiences and opportunities that allow development of curiosity, initiative, problem solving skills and creativity, as well as a sense of self and a feeling of belonging to the group.
Maintaining accurate, complete, and timely reports
Ensuring facility is safe in accordance with childcare laws and regulations
Daily communication with parents
Willing to continue professional development
Requirements:
At least 2 year's experience working with children
Associate's degree in education or similar field
Up to date Clearances (within the last five years)*
National Sex Offender Registry Verification
Act 34 State Police Criminal Record Check
Act 151 Child Abuse History Clearance
Act 114 Federal Criminal History Record Check with Fingerprints
Mandated Reporter Training within the last five years*
2 non-family, written letters of recommendation
*Will assist in obtaining clearances if needed
