About the Role:
As a Food Service Assistant at Carriage House Nursing and Rehab, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality care and satisfaction of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation and service of meals and snacks in our dining area
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to infection control standards
Assisting with menu planning, food preparation, and food presentation
Ensuring patient satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and responding to special requests
Collaborating with the dietary team to identify and implement process improvements
Both Full-time and Part-time Schedules Available
Responsibilities:
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and service
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assist with food presentation and plating
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
