Admissions Coordinator

Fuquay-Varina Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing team as a Part-Time Admissions Coordinator.

As the Admissions Coordinator, you will work closely with patients and families as they transition from the acute setting to post-acute care. You will provide individualized customer service and administrative support to help us meet our commitment of delivering Care Beyond Compare.

• Welcome patients and families to the center and provide non-clinical support during the admission process

• Communicate clearly with families regarding admission procedures and expectations

• Assist patients and families with completing admission paperwork and required documentation

• Ensure rooms, supplies, and materials are prepared for new admissions

• Assist in communicating with insurance providers to obtain initial and continued authorizations

• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards

• Act as a customer service champion to ensure a positive experience for residents and families

• Respond promptly to service concerns and escalate when needed to ensure exceptional service

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Experience in post-acute admissions, patient relations, or customer service preferred

• Proficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
