At Unicare ABA, our dedication drives everything we do. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing ABA therapy services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our carefully screened and trained staff are committed to delivering high-quality care that aligns with the individual's unique needs and goals.
**Responsibilities:**
* Implement behavioral interventions and strategies as prescribed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBAs)
* Collect and maintain accurate data on client behavior and progress
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure collaboration and coordination of care
* Develop and maintain a positive and patient-centered environment, promoting social and emotional growth
* Collaborate with BCBAs and LBAs to implement and modify treatment plans as needed
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, or special education) preferred
* Minimum of 6 months of experience working with individuals with ASD or similar populations
* Completion of behavior technician training program or equivalent
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients' homes or other locations as needed
