Responsibilities
Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
Support residents with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety
Facilitate engaging activities that promote social interaction, independence, and personal growth within the community
Provide transportation for appointments, outings, or errands using company vehicles while adhering to safety protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of care plans, incident reports, and health records utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Implement behavior management strategies tailored to each individual’s needs, including dementia or Alzheimer's care techniques
Ensure the cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry

Experience
Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in assisted living, nursing homes, or retirement homes is highly preferred
Knowledge of assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care and hygiene support
Hands-on experience with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic first aid certification is advantageous
Familiarity with home & community care environments and long-term care settings enhances your ability to provide comprehensive support
Experience operating EMR systems for accurate record keeping and reporting
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation duties
Background in behavior management techniques for individuals with dementia or memory care needs is a plus
