Manager Preconstruction

Lead the preconstruction phase for commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and controls projects by developing budgets, conceptual estimates, value engineering solutions, and project strategies. Partner with clients, design teams, operations, and subcontractors to ensure projects are set up for success.

• Develop ROM, conceptual, and detailed mechanical estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and preconstruction planning.
• Mentor junior estimators and preconstruction staff.
• Assist with project handoff to operations and commissioning.

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, estimating, or preconstruction experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical systems, estimating, and building codes.
• Experience with estimating software (QuickPen, Trimble AutoBid, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
