You'll be responsible for tracking, analyzing and reporting manufacturing costs to ensure inventory integrity, margin visibility, and effective cost control. If you're excited about seeing tangible results from your work, and you thrive in a dynamic environment where growth is constant, joining Kaidi could be the journey of a lifetime!Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Cost & Inventory Accounting:Maintain accurate cost records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goodsEnsure correct inventory valuation in accordance with US GAAP and China GAAPPerform inventory reconciliations and investigate quantity or cost variancesMonitor obsolete, excess, and slow moving inventory and report findings to leadershipSupport and validate physical inventory processesCost Analysis & Margin Support:Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs by job, product, and production runPrepare and explain purchase price variance, usage variance, and efficiency variancePerform monthly gross margin analysis and identify drivers of margin fluctuationSupport standard cost reviews and updates, including BOM accuracyProvide cost insights to support pricingMonth End Close & Reporting:Prepare cost related journal entries and reconciliationsSupport month end close for inventory, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing overheadProduce recurring cost and inventory reports for managementSupport external audits by providing cost and inventory documentationOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with inventory, WIP, and standard or job costing preferredStrong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing finance principlesAdvanced Excel skills requiredExperience with ERP accounting systems, SAP preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlinesBilingual Mandarin Chinese / English is highly preferredExperience in steel furniture manufacturing is a plusStrong problem-solving skillsTeam player with demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at various organizational levels internally and externallySelf-directed individual with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrentlyWhy You'll Love Working HereOpportunity to make a real impact on the success of the operationBe part of a team that values innovation, efficiency, and craftsmanshipOpportunities for growth, learning, and leadership in a dynamic manufacturing environmentCompetitive pay and benefits including medical/dental/visionWorking EnvironmentOn-site role in a production facility - daily presence on the shop floor requiredAbility to access and navigate all areas of the facilities and perform the above-mentioned essential dutiesOccasional travel may be required for trainingPay$75,000 - $90,000 per yearBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid holidaysPaid vacation and sick time IRA with matching $Ready to join a company that puts people and safety first?
