Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing dental and medical instruments and equipment
- Performing daily cleaning of treatment areas and sterilization workspaces
- Operating, monitoring, and maintaining sterilization equipment
- Following infection prevention and sterilization protocols to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Inspecting instruments and equipment to verify cleanliness and functionality
- Maintaining accurate sterilization logs and equipment maintenance records
- Collaborating with clinical staff to ensure instruments and equipment are properly prepared and available for patient care
- Monitoring inventory and stocking sterilization supplies as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in Sterilization or Infection Control
- Previous experience in sterilization, infection control, or central processing
- Experience working in a dental, medical, surgical, or other healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures and protocols
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Salary:
$17.00–$20.00 per hour
