Cold-Chain Outbound Operations Supervisor

Lead the flow of frozen meals from pull to ship

Picture your day. You kick off the shift with a quick huddle, aligning pull lists to staffing and order volume. You assign lanes, confirm PPE, and step into the -10°ree;F freezer to lead by example. As orders move from pick to pack to ship, you monitor accuracy, spot-check inventory, solve equipment hiccups, and keep communication tight for a smooth handoff to the next shift.

What you will do

• Own daily freezer pulling and outbound shipping assignments, balancing priorities against order volume and headcount
• Set the pace on the floor by accurately pulling frozen meal orders and preparing outbound loads
• Track team productivity and accuracy, reinforcing food safety and company standards
• Run quality checks and inventory spot audits before loads are released
• Train and onboard new hires on SOPs, safety practices, and performance expectations
• Work inside a -10°ree;F freezer environment for extended periods with provided PPE
• Safely lift, carry, and stack 40+ pound cases throughout the shift
• Act as first point of contact for equipment issues, order discrepancies, and safety concerns
• Maintain clear, accurate shift documentation and communicate updates during shift handoffs
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to supervisors regarding team members

What you bring

• 6–12 months of warehouse, freezer, shipping, or order fulfillment experience preferred
• Background as a Freezer Puller or warehouse lead highly preferred
• Proven ability to motivate, coach, and model best practices
• Keen attention to detail and dedication to order accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable and steady in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
• Comfort with repetitive lifting and extended time in cold conditions
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Bilingual English Spanish encouraged to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Forklift certification is a plus
