This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to complex financial information, takes pride in accuracy, and can manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality. Your work will help ensure that critical community programs remain financially sound, grant-compliant, and positioned to serve those who need them most.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $49,000-$52,000 DOEWe offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:403(b) Retirement Plan with 6% employer matchHealth Insurance with three plan options; EICAP pays the majority of the premiumEmployer-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)Dental and Vision Insurance with 60% of employee and dependent premiums coveredGroup Life Insurance – 100% employer-paid, with optional supplemental coverageTelemedicine coverage for the entire family, employer paidFlexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care FSA (employee-funded)Optional employee-paid benefits including identity theft protection, pet care discounts, legal assistance, and accident, hospitalization, and critical illness coverageGenerous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and paid holidaysWe're seeking a Grants Accountant who is:Exceptionally detail-oriented and committed to producing accurate workReliable under pressure, able to meet recurring deadlines and adjust to changing priorities without becoming overwhelmedOrganized and disciplined, with strong follow-through and time management skillsFinancially savvy, with experience managing budgets, tracking expenditures, and reconciling financial informationCompliance-minded, maintaining documentation and records that are complete, accurate, and audit-readyAnalytical and proactive, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues before they become larger problemsA collaborative professional, capable of working effectively with program leadership and fiscal staffTechnically proficient, with strong Excel skills and confidence using accounting and financial softwareAdaptable, willing to cross-train and support other fiscal functions as neededPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related fieldThree years of accounting, grant accounting, nonprofit accounting, or fund accounting experience preferredExperience working with multiple funding sources, budgets, and reporting requirements is highly desirableWhat You'll DoPrepare and submit reimbursement requests and grant billingsMonitor program budgets and assist with budget revisions and amendmentsPrepare and submit financial reports to funding agenciesTrack expenditures and ensure compliance with grant requirementsMaintain accurate grant, contract, and property-related financial recordsReview supporting documentation for completeness and accuracySupport fiscal monitoring, contract compliance, and purchase order trackingAssist with audits and maintain documentation that is consistently audit-readyAbout EICAPEastern Idaho Community Action Partnership is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities throughout eastern Idaho.
