Job Description
Location: Alternating between Massapequa and Garden City offices
Position Type: Part-Time with the opportunity for full-time w/ benefits
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM - 3 PM OR Monday - Thursday: 2 PM - 8 PM

Position Overview: Seeking a Front Desk Manager to act as the crucial connection among clients, providers, and external referrals. This role demands a deep comprehension of mental health therapy modalities and wellness services, alongside top-notch communication and organizational abilities. The perfect candidate will foster client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and nurture a collaborative atmosphere. This role reports directly to the Clinical Directors.
Compensation:$17 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
Providing prompt responses to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Facilitating connections and managing referrals to appropriate providers within the wellness center.
Efficiently scheduling appointments and coordinating client care across various services.
Ensuring accurate and well-organized client records are maintained in EHR systems like Vagaro, Jane, and SimplePractice.
Collaborating closely with providers to stay informed about service offerings and address client needs effectively.
Assisting in the smooth 360 onboarding process for new clients to ensure a seamless experience.
Creating a welcoming and hospitable environment for clients upon their arrival.
Completing insurance verification for new clients.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in a mental health or wellness-related field is highly preferred.
Thorough knowledge of mental health therapy techniques and wellness services is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Vagaro, Jane, SimplePractice EHR, and Google Drive is required.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with others are necessary.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently are crucial for this role.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment (ei, call center, doctor's office, etc) is strongly preferred.
