Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an HR Generalist. This position serves as a key resource for employees and leadership, supporting a broad range of human resources functions while helping ensure compliance, accuracy, and an exceptional employee experience. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, able to manage confidential information, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employee questions related to company policies, benefits, payroll, and HR procedures, escalating complex matters when appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage the HR department inbox, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate routing of requests.
  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and hiring coordination.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation sessions and support a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding and separation processes, including required documentation, exit procedures, and company asset tracking.
  • Administer employee benefits programs by processing enrollments, qualifying life events, and annual enrollment changes.
  • Review and reconcile benefits billing, working with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage leave of absence administration, including FMLA requests, documentation, approvals, and ongoing tracking.
  • Support compensation administration by processing pay changes, reviewing data for accuracy, and assisting with compensation-related reporting.
  • Coordinate employee training initiatives by scheduling sessions, tracking completion, and maintaining training records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a Human Resources Generalist or HR Coordinator role with exposure to multiple HR disciplines.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and leave administration, including FMLA.
  • Experience administering employee benefits and supporting recruiting and onboarding processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
