WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: As a Sr. Field Supervisor – Construction Inspection, you will lead and oversee multiple field inspection teams supporting civil infrastructure projects. You’ll provide technical guidance, ensure quality and compliance, and coordinate field operations to meet project goals. This role serves as a key link between field teams, project managers, engineers, and clients, driving consistency, accountability, and high-performance execution across concurrent projects.
Once selected to join our team, you will:
- Lead, plan, and direct the work of field supervisors and inspection teams across multiple projects
- Coordinate schedules, staffing, and resources to meet deadlines and quality expectations
- Serve as the primary field liaison between contractors, clients, and engineering teams to resolve issues and maintain clear communication
- Oversee field documentation (reports, notes, sketches) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards
- Ensure QA/QC compliance with project specifications and company procedures
- Partner with Project Managers to deliver inspection services aligned with scope, budget, and timelines
- Mentor and develop Field Supervisors through coaching, training, and performance feedback
- Enforce safety standards, monitor compliance, and address unsafe conditions
- Review inspection reports and construction documentation for technical accuracy
- Manage field equipment, resources, and inventory to maintain operational readiness
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of field staff
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Represent construction inspection services in client and internal meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE:
- Advanced understanding of civil/structural inspection practices and field methodologies
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, documentation standards, and compliance requirements
SKILLS:
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously

EXPERIENCE:
- 15+ years of civil/structural inspection experience
- 10+ years of experience leading or managing field teams
- Demonstrated success in client relations and project coordination
- Experience developing and implementing field procedures and best practices
- Background in managing resources, staffing, and field operations
EDUCATION:
- Associate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Surveying, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
