Are you an experienced Barista looking to be inspired by your work environment and the community you serve?Paisley Park is searching for part-time barista to provide guests who visit the NPG Music Club with professional and friendly service. You will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, other beverages, and refreshments inside the legendary NPG Music Club at Paisley Park.Chanhassen, Minnesota20+ hours per week. Weekend availability mandatoryResponsibilitiesGreet and engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming mannerSpeaking and interacting with new and regular customersPrepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items, including coffee, teas, desserts, and light mealsProvide well-crafted and beautifully presented beveragesMaintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environmentFollow and maintain health and safety guidelines Regularly stock coffee bar and kitchenTaking guest orders and receiving paymentFollowing operational policies and proceduresBeing punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance Ability to work flexible hours and shift may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work in a high-speed, busy work environment Contributing to a positive work environmentSkills2+ years in customer service and barista/restaurant experience Excellent communication and customer service skillsPolite and engaging personalityWillingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skillsAbility to well under pressure, multitask, and attention to detail Cash management Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparationsAbility to meet physical requirements of job, including using hands and wrists, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time.Have or be able to obtain certification as a Food Protection Manager from the Minnesota Department of HealthEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferredPrior café or coffee shop experience Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale softwareIf offered the position, the offer is contingent upon passing a background check and a four-panel background screen which does NOT include THC.
