EMT - Emergency Medical Services - PRN

Responsible for driving the ambulance and assisting the Paramedic in providing basic life support functions. The EMT provides basic life support to patients and assists Emergency personnel after reaching the hospital. Experienced preferred.Position: PRN (as needed)Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesMS State certification as EMT with EMS training equal to or exceeding national registry standards requiredValid MS emergency drivers licenseMust have a valid CPR cardIn event of census change, staffing changes or other circumstances, accepts and performs subordinate roles and alternated assignments within scope of practice to meet the needs of the hospitalDemonstrates professional behavior and interpersonal skills to reflect the Mission and Vision statement of CCHPerform other duties as assignedIs physically able to perform assigned dutiesComplies with the hospital and departmental safety guidelinesComplies with the infection control and universal precaution guidelinesDemonstrates professional behavior and interpersonal skills to reflect the Mission and Vision statement of CCHPhysically able to perform job responsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned
