Role Overview: As a Lead Equipment Technician, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our diverse range of machinery operates seamlessly. Dive into hands-on challenges with gas engines, from 2 to 4 cylinders, and enhance your career with a supportive team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose & Repair: Expertly handle machinery such as truck-mounted carpet units and HEPA vacuums.
  • Utilize Diagnostics: Leverage manuals and guides for pinpoint accuracy in repairs.
  • Evaluate & Communicate: Identify repair opportunities and articulate recommendations.
  • Exceed Standards: Aim to surpass quality benchmarks and productivity goals.
  • Workspace Management: Ensure workshops are clean and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Collaboration: Support technician peers and engage with store teams effectively.
  • Scheduling & Organization: Orchestrate repair schedules and maintain service orders with precision.
  • Customer Interaction: Offer estimates, service details, and coordinate engagements with clients.
  • Shop Coordination: Harmonize workloads and prioritize repairs with team members.
  • Parts Facilitation: Order parts and liaise with suppliers efficiently.
  • Safety Commitment: Maintain rigorous safety standards, utilizing protective gear.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with commercial cleaning equipment or similar sectors.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and have a clean record.
  • Own a personal set of essential mechanic tools.
  • Demonstrate meticulous problem-solving abilities.
  • Appear professionally; communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
  • Physical capability to handle 50+ lbs. in active environments.
  • Flexibility for occasional overtime work.
