Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative leadership and strategic direction to the nursing home, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, staff, and the medical community to ensure exceptional customer service and seamless patient care

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and statistical data

  • Collaborate with other departments to promote interdisciplinary care and communication

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

  • Recruit, hire, and train staff members to ensure adequate staffing levels and high-quality care

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in the state of Alabama

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, nursing, or business) preferred

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a long-term care administrator

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
