Summary
A weld shop is seeking an experienced Pipe Burner to join its team. This position is responsible for cutting pipe using a torch burner and supporting fabrication operations in a fast-paced shop environment. Candidates must be skilled with torch cutting and able to maintain quality, accuracy, and safety standards while working extended hours.

This position is responsible for cutting pipe using a torch burner and supporting fabrication operations in a fast-paced shop environment. Candidates must be skilled with torch cutting and able to maintain quality, accuracy, and safety standards while working extended hours.
Primary Responsibilities
- Burn and cut pipe using a torch burner according to specifications
- Read measurements and follow work instructions for accurate cuts
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Follow all shop safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist with general shop and fabrication tasks as needed
- Maintain consistent attendance and productivity
Qualifications
- Proven experience burning and cutting pipe with a torch required
- Familiarity with weld shop or fabrication environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work long hours and overtime
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
Pay: $21–$24/hr DOE
Shift:
- Day Shift: 6:00am – 4:30pm
- Currently 50+ hours per week
